I always love reading Jiro's blog posts.
And that is because they never fail to leave me with a smile. :)
Each time he posts about something, the content of it always shows his sincerity and gratitude towards his fans.
He never fails to thank everyone for their love and support and always reiterates that if it were not for everyone, he wouldn't be where or what he is today.
Let me quote a few lines from his recent post on 25 Jan which I really like.

"東爸比就是要像爸比一樣的保護我的任何一個家人"

"因為有你們 你們每一張 認真 努力 用力 用心 天真 美麗 善良 天使般的面孔 都是大東 一直堅定堅持走下去的動力"

Ok, that aside..
Lately, a lot of things have been happening.
I fell ill on Fri with diarrhoea, vomiting followed by fever and then slowly started losing my voice.
It all happened so suddenly as I was still well that morning.
It has in fact been about 2 years since I last vomited.
I was sick so untimely and as a result, I couldn't do the GEMS video with Hui Ting and Serene and also couldn't go for Huang Jing Lun's AS with Reenie.
I am very sorry about that.
I was in and out of the toilet at IMM non-stop till the cleaning auntie was staring at me.
Finally, I felt very paiseh so I went to another handicap toilet, locked myself in where I had diarrhoea for the 3rd time that night + vomiting and all my dinner came out.
I almost couldn't make it home and thankfully, I contacted my mum who then informed my dad and he drove to pick me home.
When I got home, I slept for 3 hours or so, only to find myself waking up and running a temperature.
Throughout the weekend, I could do nothing but sleep because I really didn't have the energy.
Felt too weak to do anything.
Seriously, what kind of viral infection was that man?
As a result of all these, I caused much unhappiness owing to the fact that I didn't do what I was supposed to and even forgot about many things.
I know it's my fault and I should've known better.
To those whom I've disappointed and upset, I am truly very apologetic about it.

Over the past few days, I've also had issues regarding my ITP.
I had initially thought the shop I was working part-time for would be a good choice for my ITP.
Hence, after some consideration, I submitted my form to the Manager so I can fulfill my ITP there from Mar-Apr.
Unfortunately for me, when I went back to the shop to collect the form 2 days back, I was disappointed.
I have to report to work at 10.15am daily and work till closing time at 9.30pm.
What's worse is, I'll have to work 6 days a week and they might not allow me to take leave on a weekend at all.
I asked around and found that the earliest other people have to report is 10.30am and others, even at 11am or 12 noon.
So why is mine 10.15am when the shop only opens at 10.30?
I think they're making full use of their advantage to make me go thru' cheap labour for them, which I feel is really not right.
Spoke to Ms Ling Yeoh and some others about it (PS: Sorry, I know I was very whiny about the whole thing) and she also got a headache after I poured out all my concerns. Feel bad.
Anyway, there is nothing she or I can do so I guess my fate is sealed, unless I can find a tactful way of negotiating with the Manager.
But nevertheless, I think it'll be tough.
Sigh.. Does my life have to suck this much?
I really wonder.
However, I am thankful for the people who always turn my frown upside down and for the people who always make even my gloomiest days a little better.
Thank you, to all of you out there. :)

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY TO YOU, REENIE CHIN! :D

Well, didn't get to celebrate with you today due to a clash in our timetables but was happy to see the mini celebration planned for you by your very own classmates!
Hope you enjoyed this special day of yours. :)
I shall not elaborate too much here as most of what I would like to tell you have already been written in the album from me to you!
Am glad I managed to pass you the present just now or it would've been a belated one already. Cos I seriously don't know when is the soonest I'll get to meet you again (this week is quite impossible already).

Sorry I didn't wrap your present as I had limited time to finish churning out the entire album.
Hope you don't mind that it's rather plain & simple too.
Anyway, you can take your time to read it since it's rather wordy. Hahaha..
And don't share it with anybody else cos the content is personal and quite mushy so I'll get shy. Haha. LOL!
Lastly, thank you for the 9 years (and counting) of friendship!
I can't wait for our 10th year!
Let's make plans to celebrate it when the time comes, ok? :)

I'm on RAZORTV with Fahrenheit!!! :D
Was initially very afraid to view the video cos it's damn embarrassing, I swear.
I wasn't exactly looking my best that night.
On the contrary, I looked horrible with my unkempt hair and crappy dressing.
However, I'm really glad that moment in time was captured on camera!
It is indeed a night I NEVER will forget, though I'm still upset with myself for having not cherished a golden opportunity as such.
Other fans made full use of their chance on stage, striking when the iron was hot.. to shake hands, hug and take photos with Fahrenheit.
I was the only idiot who was one of the first to go down stage right after passing Aaron his card from Reenie and mine, to Jiro.
You tell me, isn't this PLAIN STUPIDITY?!
Can't get over it till now cos I know I might NEVER get a chance like this again. :(

Also, I was really unfortunate to have stood beside this aggressive fan during the game, who was coincidently was the one who wanted to join my queue and cut the queue of others before the event.
If I had found out earlier, I would have sworn a string of vulgarities right in her face! Ok, I'm kidding. X:
But seriously, she was too much.
She's the one who rushed up stage the moment participants for the last game could go up and made a dash for Aaron, going in between him and Calvin.

Then she took a shot of Aaron himself, followed by a self-shot of her & him.
After the game, she also freaking hugged Aaron.
It was HER who attributed to why I lost the many chances I could have had.. to answer the questions during the game.
Worse still, she answered a question wrongly when it was a giveaway! -.-
Q: What is Shi Lang's favorite sport in Momo Love?
Her answer: Swimming. ROFL.
Lady, please do your homework before you answer the questions ya?
THANKFULLY, she didn't win. And because the outcome is as such, 我也输得心服口服啦!
After all, people who don't play fair don't deserve to win; am I right?

Well, Aaron was the only dearie who spotted me well enough during the game. :)
At least he knew I was the fastest to raise my hand for some of the questions as he pointed in my direction at least 3 times. :)
I wasn't really noticeable to the others because of that aggressive fan beside me.
As a result, I only managed to answer one question - the first question asked by Aaron.
What an eventful night!
