The images of myself replaying over and over again
Back from school and I'm tired. Dead tired. I guess it cos I slept only at 1am and woke up at 6am+. I need at least 10 hours of sleep daily in order to be fully revitalised. That's quite a lot huh ? Nothing much happened today, just that the recently super muddle-headed me left my Physio Visual Optics notes at LT4 after Chris Ng's lesson. -.- Panicked when I couldn't find it during ZMX's class and went to LT4 TWICE to check if it was there but to my dismay, it wasn't. Finally, during Tan Li Li's class, she asked if anyone had lost their Optics notes and I was so so relieved. Lol. SERIOUSLYYY.. I don't know what's with me these days. I don't know if I'm simply careless, forgetful, blur, muddle-head and oh, perhaps ALL OF THE ABOVE. Zzz. Twice, I left my hp behind - the first time at 7Eleven and the next at Changi Airport's TCC. Fortunately for me, I managed to get it back on those 2 occasions. And I keep forgetting to bring my notes, somehow. Yesterday when I thought I had finally remembered to bring everything needed for lessons, I realised I brought the wrong notes ?! ZZZZZZZ. I think I've been pretty much sleep-deprived that's why my brain isn't functioning too well due to the lack of oxygen. Man. From now on, I gotta sleep latest by 11pm everyday. YES, I must !! -.- Anyway, every lesson feels like an Art class now. Everyone's practically sketching and drawing non stop. And yes, its The Eye, The Eye & THE EYE. I'm suffering from eye phobia now. Yesterday's highlights - Singapore Hit Awards 2008 Met Reenie at about 4pm and we reached Vivo at about 530pm where we searched high and low for the HK Kimgary Restaurant. Yeah, I know it wasn't my first time going there to eat but somehow, I'm always lost in Vivo. Lol. By the time we found the place, it was already close to 6pm. Ordered our food and this time, I had rice cos I've already tried their noodles the other time. (:Ate for a while before we realised we were running late and left the place at about 630pm. By the time we boarded the train to head for Kallang, it was already 645pm. Our initial plan was to be at the Singapore Indoor Stadium at 7pm but inadvertently, we still became late though we met well before the starting time of the event. The moment we alighted at the stadium, we rushed to the South Entrance (as stated in the tickets), only to see a sign that says we had to enter from the North Entrance. Panting and all tired from the running and climbing of the long flight of stairs, we had to run another big round to get to the North Entrance. My goodness. It was a super duper 'UNGLAM' sight, esp when we were all dressed nicely for the event. T.T Finally got in and we took our seats. Found that we had gotten pretty good seats with a rather clear view of the stage. I was really anticipating very much to see some of the stars and capture their shots though I knew some of them mightn't turn up. I kept reassuring myself, S.H.E will definitely be there even if the others aren't. They will surely be there. And you know what ? The Hit Awards was a total disappointment for me, at least. S.H.E, Fahrenheit & Angela Zhang were ALL NOT THERE. Wth ! =.= I was became pretty sad and had no mood to watch on after learning that those I had expected to see were not present, not a SINGLE one. )': Basically, the major winners were Tanya Chua and Yoga - Lin You Jia. Lin You Jia received so many awards and he ran up the stage so many times. He even went up to receive the prizes for S.H.E and Fahrenheit. *Faints* Seeing him run up so many times with that same solemn expression made Reenie and I laugh like mad. Plus he's short and his hairstyle's like a 'xiao di di'. Haha. Another one was Tanya Chua's mother. She wasn't present at the Hit awards so her hippy mum went on her behalf. I tell you, her mum's speech is really cute. How she said 'jiu san san' (93.3FM) made us burst into fits of laughter. And her overall image was way hip, I tell you. Haha. Fancy having a hip mum like that. O_o Overall, it was the same few stars that kept receiving awards. On top of the above-mentioned 2 stars, there was also Mayday, Fish Leong, Ti Amo, Da Zui Ba and etc. Jam Hsiao won a couple of awards but wasn't present. His song kept playing over and over again. Irritating ! Reenie's idol Derrick was also present. Good for her ! Didn't take many pics since I wasn't a fan of any of the stars that were present. I'm totally disappointed ! Will try again for future Hit Awards in the time to come. Anyway, if you're interested, do catch the telecast of the Singapore Hit Awards 2008 at 8.30pm on Channel 8 later on. I wonder why there wasn't a live telecast on yesterday night itself. Hmm. I didn't expect the whole thing to end just mere minutes to 12mn. Omg. =.- Reenie and I even missed the last train. We were so close to boarding the last train to Kranji from City Hall but then, we went down the wrong escalator and missed it. Damn. As a result, we went to the bus stop outside St Andrew's Cathedral and took night rider NR3 home. Cost me 3 bucks cos my ez-link ran out of $. ZZZ. Anyway, I'm ending my post with a couple of photos.  Sis & I after our gym workout on Sunday My arm muscles are still aching badly though it's been 3 days ! Guess I can't make another trip to the gym over the next few days as I've gotta rest. I certainly wouldn't want a muscle tear. X: Anyway, I'm feeling really terrible after taking a whopping 3 and half hour nap when I had set the alarm for only 1 hour. I-FEEL-LIKE-A-PIG. -.- On a lighter note, I'm finally gonna give Hui Ting her present + postcard tomorrow ! Haha. Hope she'll like it though. (: 21 October 2008
Character Development lesson with Monica Lim Mei Mei is fun ! :D Well, started the day with Character Development this morning at 10am. However, I was late and reached at 10.10am. Oh man. I've been telling myself to be punctual for ALL lessons this sem, yet I was actually late today. Grr. ): Okay, so this was what we did. We set up tables to form a circle and sat on them. Then we were each given blank A4 papers and a marker and had to draw a self-portrait. Going in an anti-clockwise direction, each of us had to give a self-introduction and show the class our self-portraits. I've always hated introducing myself as I often find it hard to talk about anything related to me like my interest(s). Imagine, even I myself don't know what I truly like and enjoy doing. How will others then understand me well ? *Laughs* So I drew some nonsensical stuff on my piece of paper and while waiting for my turn to come (I was second last), I thought hard on what I should say. Seeing others introduce themselves and talk about things pertaining to them really made me and the whole lot of us laugh quite a bit. Everyone is just so unique in their own way and some of them are indeed very cute. (: When it was my turn, I finally mustered that teeny bit of courage to say, 'I'm Michelle and I've been trying to put on weight but so far, not successful'. T.T And the part where she asked what I like doing, I was hesistant and Li Min and company asked, 'Michelle, you like to K also right?'. Monica Lim was actually kinda surprised to hear that cos I seemed really introverted to her. Heh. And she asked, 'So you're a hidden talent?'. Lol. And yeah, I was asked to show my portrait to the class which was pretty embarrassing. :/ Anyway, school ended only past 6pm today after Physio Visual prac with ZMX, who's really very cute and lovely. Hehe. (: But man, I've got another assigment at hand now - the prac assignment. I've gotta be more disciplined ! Attempted one question from Visual Optics last night, just before I turned in and I'm happy I managed to solve it somehow. Way to go, Mic ! :D Okay. For now, here's my portrait to make this post less wordy and boring. You can critique it. I wasn't an Art student anyway. Haha.

Haven't been updating for the past few days, partly cos I've been kinda lazy and also cos I've gotta go off early nowadays, at 11pm or Dad would make a big fuss. Zzz. On Fri, I met Reenie after school where we headed to BPP. First went to MOS Burger cos I was starving; didn't have my lunch. Headed there also on the pretext of studying, according to Reenie as she wanted to get her tutorials done. I then decided to take out my Visual Optics notes to attempt the questions but sadly, I couldn't really focus and could neither make head nor tail out of the question. Once again, it felt like as though I was gonna screw up my modules again this sem. Sigh. After slacking at MOS for quite some time, we headed to the Streets Restaurant upstairs to have our dinner. Thus, my lunch was taken at 4pm and dinner, 6pm. How incredulous. Haha. I was still a little too full for dinner but since Reenie had to take hers, I accompanied her to eat. Nice, huh ? X: Ate till it was time for the autograph session and performance of Mi Lu Bing at the Garden Plaza. We headed there, only to realise that there weren't many people. I'm not a fan of Mi Lu Bing so I only went there to 'kaypoh' a bit. (: Helped Reenie with the video + photo-taking and we left the place at about 9pm+.     On Sat, I went out with Jas and Wen to Junction 8. Dined at Cafe Cartel and we had a really hard time finding the place. Junction 8's kind of a messy place. Thereafter, we shopped around the area but didn't purchase anything. And then, we proceeded to Swensens to have our tea; ice cream, of course. Enjoyed the time out with the girls. (:   Okay, it's back to school today. My group rushed our RWP assignment like hell, only to find that we couldn't present today as time was up by the time it was my group's turn. -.- Had a 3 hour break after the lesson and we girls headed to FC5 to have Pizza Hut and then to Moberly for karaoke/chilling out session. Then, it was Physiological & Visual Optics lesson. Oh man, I've always been seeing lotsa stars particularly during ZMX's lessons. Damn. 16 October 2008
 3rd day of school since Sem 2 started. It was plain boring today, esp Tan Li Li's Ocular Physiology lecture. Oh my ~ I was practically nodding away cos I couldn't help but kept dozing off. Even sitting at the front couldn't keep me awake. Her voice is of such monotony that one can doze off within minutes, let alone the 2-hour session we had today. Basically, everything is about the eye, eye and the EYE now. Zzz. Cornea, retina, iris, aqueous humour, tear film & blah blah blah.. Truly amazing how one small organ like the eye can have a spectrum of sophisticated structures. I'm starting to have a really bad feeling about this sem and I'm afraid I ain't gonna do any better than last sem, if not, worse. Some decision-making that has been left aside for quite some time: Should I switch to the Creative Writing course commencing in 2009 ? That I really don't know. Sigh.. In a total dilemma. Zhu Mingxia's lesson was another ordeal. Looks like I really gotta do consistent self-study and get as much help as possible from people, though I don't really like to impose too much on others. ): I want a better GPA, much better than what I'd attained in Sem 1. Sem 1 was a total disaster. I'd barely made it thru'.. BARELY. Been pretty emotionally upset these few days. I can't seem to find my direction in life. This year, my social life and academic life has been oh-so pathetic. I feel like crying at times and don't talk much in school. That's why I appear to be super introverted to my classmates. Okay, I'm sorry for all the 'emo-ing'. On a lighter note, first week of the sem always seems like a great time for me to meet up with Reenie. Met up with her yesterday after school. Lessons were supposed to end at 12pm but was pushed back cos ZMX booked the lecture theatre from 12-1pm as she didn't like the idea of using a classroom. As a result, an hour was wasted and I couldn't meet Reenie though her lesson had already ended. But she waited for me and we met to have lunch at FC2. (: Thereafter, she needed to make a new ATM card so we headed to town to get it done and at the same time, see if we could shop for anything. First went to Taka, then to Wisma and Far East. No luck in spotting any clothes that we liked or were suitable. Ended up buying ji pa from Shilin and also a cup of super big gulp. Haha. Then, I saw a watch I liked selling for only 10 bucks hence I decided to buy it. Reenie didn't buy anything from the trip except the SP shirt which she purchased earlier on. Lol. We were super duper tired at the end of the day but every bus was fully packed and we had no chance to board so we were fed up and took the train instead. Aha. And today, I met Reenie after school again ! Went to library with the intention of completing the irritating RWP assignment but in the end, the com was lagging and no one had the mood so we left. While I was on the platform of the MRT, Reenie called to say that she had just arrived on the platform as well. Lol ! So we managed to take the train together, with Serene, of course. (: Went to Lot 1 to have tea at Wan Chai HK Tearoom. Had Iced Milk Tea + shared a Ham & Cheese Thick Toast. Now I'm still full and having a stomachache, oh man. Okie, that's about all. Oh ya, I'm gonna see Reenie again tomorrow. *Laughs* Accompanying her to catch Mi Lu Bing at Bt Panjang Plaza and also have our dinner there.   School's reopening tomorrow. B-O-R-I-N-G. ): Sigh. I needa save $ from tomorrow onwards !!! I've calculated my expenses for this week alone. It amounts to $131.70. What the hell. What the hell. What the hell. ROAR ~ And no, I didn't spend it on shopping, not a cent. Why does $ fly away so fast ?! My heart is aching. Where has my hard-earned $ gone too ? Lol. Mic's gotta be more discerning when it comes to financial planning. Okay, just a random post for today. Stupid new specs of mine has been making me feel so dizzy. Bye. 11 October 2008
 Yoohoo ! :D I've just gotten my new pair of spectacles ! Hmm.. How does this one look on me ? I've been having my frameless specs on for a whopping 3 years so I guess it's time I switch to a pair of half frame spectacles. I wish I could try contacts, though. Oh well.. Had a pretty long day out and I'm a very tired but happy girl today so I shall update about it. (: Okay. Firstly, I shall upload some pics I took with Jas a couple of days ago, after having our late dinner at Vivo's HK Kimgary Restaurant. It was the day before Pam's birthday - 5th of Oct, when we went out together with Sak and Cheryl to buy her birthday gift(s). We enjoyed the dinner and decided to take some pics, that also being our first time dining there. (: Chilled out from 10am+ all the way till 7pm+ today. Went out with my dearest girls - Reenie & Rachel ! Hehehe. <3> Thereafter, we couldn't decide on other plans for the day and wandered around aimlessly. However, since Reenie had a free movie ticket from Shaw, we decided to buy tickets to catch 'Painted Skin' at 12.35pm. With her complimentary ticket, each of us had the total cost splitted amongst ourselves and paid only $4 for the tickets. To kill time while waiting for the movie to start, we went to check out the arcade and took a lot of pics while occupying the space inside the neoprint machine. Lol. Well, on the whole, 'Painted Skin' is quite alright. I would give it 3/5 stars. The entire drama is short and the plot isn't very fantastic but yet, I must say it's indeed quite touching. It depicts the power of true love. O_O After the movie, I suggested that we go for KTV at SP's Moberly for an hour first before deciding where to have our lunch. So we proceeded there and splitted the cost - $10/hour, just for some fun. Haha. Sing, sang, sung till time was up and we were chased out though we haven't had enough. ): Then we went to Mac to get a large coke to share. Rachel told us we could have our meals at the 'zhu chao' stall owned by her parents so we went there. It was supposed to be our late lunch but by the time we got there, it was already close to 6pm due to the traffic jam. We boarded bus no. 14 from SP though we weren't very sure if it would take us to our destination. Thankfully, the bus we took was the right one. Lol. Had a sumptuous meal of Hotplate Toufu, Oatmeal Prawns, Seafood Soup, Dried Chilli Chicken & Xiao Bai Cai fried with Oyster Sauce. Ate till we could eat no more and then proceeded to the mama shop nearby to get some beverages. (: After which, we boarded bus no. 197 heading for Jurong East Int. and it was a rather long ride. Haha. Rachel went off to meet her bf while Reenie and I took a train home. I'm glad the last few days of my holiday has been well-spent so far. Hope there'll be many many more chances for the 3 of us to meet up soon, even after school reopens, ok? ;) But for now, it's time for the pictures ! PS: The following below are a flood of photos.
