Here to update for a while before I start working on RWP report + Microbio prac report + CD CIP reflection. -.- I'm left with a little of RWP report.. should be able to finish it within an hour or so. But I have yet to receive the results for Microbio so I can't get started on it just yet. Once I finish everything (hopefully by TODAY), I can then get settled and start on revision. However, I can't really get to study over this weekend cos my paternal relatives are coming over for dinner on Sat and on Sun, I'm most probably gonna spend the whole day out. -.- And I seriously think I'm not gonna make it for all the upcoming tests. Anatomy + V.Opt are both on Wed, how to study ?? ): I'm one who needs ample time for V.Opt as I always have to read slowly, understand and try to internalise the concept. Anatomy is all memory work but my memory sucks, big time. Gone are the days when I used to be able to remember everything word for word and spill them all out during the exam. AND.. I feel my intelligence has been shortchanged. -.- Really envy everyone who's smarter than me. I just feel.. plain stupid. Also, I've been sleep-deprived lately. Have been going to bed every night but only falling asleep after an hour or 2. My stupid skin has been giving me some problems as well and I've got a follow-up visit on 17 Feb, during the exam period. -.- My feelings now are simply indescribable. Have been troubled over many things yet I can't do anything much and can't really confide in anyone. Alright.. for now, here are a few pictures dad captured at the airport after reunion dinner on CNY eve with relatives. CNY this year was nothing so interesting, nothing very special. I didn't do much and didn't really dress up nicely. Didn't receive many red packets either. You can easily count them with your ten fingers and it amounted to a pathetic sum. ): Ha. On the eve of CNY, I went for a reunion dinner (with paternal relatives) at Changi Airport T2's Soup Restaurant. Had a pretty sumptuous meal and after which, everyone headed to Coffee Bean for some snack and drinks as my aunt won a $100 voucher. Finally, after so long, I got a taste of Coffee Bean again. :D I asked for Belgian Chocolate but apparently, it didn't turn out to be the one I had been craving for. Wanted the one with coffee beans but the one they ordered for me turned out to be purely chocolate only. ): Anyway, something terrible happened on the same day. I just completely lost my mind at that instant and became dangerously crazy. I'm just glad everything was fine after that. Alright, I shall skip this and move on. CNY Day 1 was spent visiting my maternal relatives. First headed for grandma's house at noon to have our usual family lunch of mee sua, then to my uncle's place for a while and thereafter, over to my auntie's place as well. It was similar to last year's CNY and after everything, my family went back to my grandma's house again for dinner. It was a really boring day spent resting on the couch, sipping on packet drinks and munching away on the tibits at my relatives' place.. to the extent that I even fell asleep halfway ! LOL. -.- Was seriously dog tired at the end of such a long day out. CNY Day 2 was better. Family had my maternal relatives come over to our place for lunch at about 1pm. We even prepared a chocolate fondue fountain for them (esp the kids). Yummy yum yum. :D Everything turned out pretty well and they left at about 3pm+. Then at night, everyone gathered once again at grandma's house for dinner. Haha. In total, I've been to my grandma's place 3 times on 2 consecutive days. And it's seriously no joke when all your relatives stay in the east while you, in the west. Travelling alone is already quite time-consuming. ._. Oh btw, believe it or not, I didn't take ANY pics with of my relatives. I'm not very close to any of them anyway. Today was spent with Reenie, right after school which ended at 12pm. Headed for IMM where we had lunch and then to Burger King to settle down for study. Sadly, I didn't study much of Anatomy as I was really tired. -.- Didn't sleep well last night. Oh well, I'll just have to make up for it later ! Gonna study for an hour or 2. ._. Okay, end of entry. And just some photos taken over the past few days.. Almost done with spring cleaning so here I am, blogging while taking a rest before I continue later. -.- Have been packing and clearing stuff from my room non-stop since 4pm+. Now its like already 7pm+ and I'm tired, suffering from backache, headache and am seriously very hungry. Boo. ): This morning, I met Zhuang Ying and we headed for Clementi's Kbox. Wen Yan came to join us much later after her piano lesson so she didn't sing for long. D: Well, the food was horrible but I enjoyed the company. :) After the singing session, we went to Lot1 for dessert - mango and green tea shaved ice. It's a period of festive season but nobody's feeling it, I suppose. People in poly have got lotsa projects + upcoming exams in mid Feb whilst those in JC are just months away from their A's. This year has been an absolutely hectic one. -.- Btw, those whom I've informed regarding Fri's CNY visit, please confirm with me the time you can make it on Fri cos timing is flexible and can be arranged. :) So I hope everyone can make it. Do let me know by Wed as we still have to buy the present(s) and I have to confirm the arrangement with the owner. TY ! :) 23 January 2009
Had a long day out both today and on Wed. On Wed after school, I waited for Reenie's CD class to end before we headed to town for our lunch cum shopping cum working on assignments cum dinner trip. :) School started at 8am that day and I only reached home at about 9pm Was dog-tired at the end of the day. TODAY- the day I had been dreading over the past few days and wished it would pass in mere seconds, finally arrived. Lol. I certainly am glad that I'm home right now and yes, I'm utterly exhausted. ZZZ. The atrociously absent-minded me had forgotten about last Fri's Microbio prac hence I had to makeup for it today. And to pay for my absent-mindedness, I had 2 practical sessions to attend today: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. How amazing that this could actually happen when I've been telling myself since last sem I would NEVER want to miss any prac cos of the hassle of making up. -.- Makeup prac was done with another class (04) with 2 pretty nice people; FORTUNATELY for me cos I also have to do a report with them and submit it in Week 17. Sigh.. And this prac ended 1.5hours early so there I was, alone at the library idling my time away and watching the world go by. Lol. After which was Pathology and then an hour's break or so before I had GEMs. T.T Attended the class reluctantly and proudly submitted my written assignment which was actually due sometime in Oct last year. Hohoho.. :X I even requested to leave the class early at 2.30pm on the pretext that I had to go off for prac when it actually scheduled only at 3pm. Haha ! And what exactly was on my mind at that point in time ? Yes, LUNCH ! I had not taken my lunch then and was starving. I knew I would definitely not make it thru' Anatomy prac till about 5pm+ or 6 with an empty stomach and having to stare at.. the eye of a PIG ! :X So today's final Anatomy prac session was the last and the most.. AHEM, how should I say it ? Haha. I think sadistic people would absolutely love today's prac - dissection of a PIG's eye.  Yup, that was my eye ! DDD: And for now, of course, there'll be pictures taken before and after the dissection. Warning: The following pictures are not meant to be viewed by the faint-hearted. It's a boring Saturday to be cooped up at home, churning out the loathesome RWP Report. I already feel like I'm dying after a couple of hours working on it but yet not achieving anything much. -.- So here I am, to de-stress for a while by updating this blog of mine. By the way, I bought this magazine 2 days ago. Reason being ? My all-time fave couple was featured on the front page, big and clear. That caught my eye immediately. Tsk tsk. :) Sadly, there wasn't much of juicy news inside that was adequate to quench my thirst of curiosity. Lol.

So sorry, haven't been updating my blog for pretty long. There have been quite a number of things going on and hence many photos. I've been waiting to receive them from others for quite some time. And though I had actually already received most of them by yesterday, I was yet too lazy to upload as there were just too many. My apologies to those who have visited over the past few days ! Since this is gonna be a picture-bombarded entry, I shan't elaborate much. :) 9 Jan '09 Met Reenie + her friend Ying Xiu and went for Derrick's Autograph Session at IMM Garden Plaza. Well, not that I'm a fan of him but nevertheless, I bought his album as Reenie really wanted the huge complimentary poster that comes with the purchase. And since I hadn't gotten her a birthday present, I though that'd make her happy for the time being. Her real present will come later. :)  .JPG)    10 Jan '09 DOPT03 had our CIP at Villa Francis for our Character Develpment module. I thought it was gonna spell boredom but it turned out pretty good. :) Love the company of everyone in my class; the class spirit and the unity. Really lovely bunch of people. Heheh. :) And our class's mass dance performance turned out quite good as well. Also, I found it very meaningful to be there to help the elderly. It was certainly an eye-opener as I've never been to a home for CIP. Heard a couple of different stories about the old folks there. My heart really goes out to many of them. Hope there'll be chances in the future for me to visit homes once again to do community service. :)           On the same day itself, I met Reenie for Derrick's 'Party of D Year' at St James Power Station. I had bought the album which comes with the ticket for the party so I decided to accompany her to catch it. :) Went home after my CIP to take my lunch, got myself changed into a skirt and off I went. It was held at the a venue called Dragonfly, a nightclub. How cool it sure was to have entered a nightclub when we're only 17. Haha. But for Reenie, that's already of the past tense. She turned 18 the next day after that. Hahaha !  Watch this video with special guest, Shi Xin Hui. She was dressed totally like a bar top dancer. Alright, so that's the end of my entry. And I must stop missing lessons already ! Oh my ~ From next week onwards, punctuality + turning in early ! I must motivate myself more or I'm gonna end up with the same shit I faced in Sem 1. -.-" |
