It's been freaking centuries since I last updated huh? -.- Sorry peeps! I somehow didn't have the inspiration to update about my dull life. So many things have happened and have been happening.. unpleasant more than pleasant. Ok. Now let's see where I last stopped.. I was still 16... THEN. -.-" Okay.. So this is my first post as a 17 year old. LOL. Hmm.. I shall make this a succint update dating back from 16 March. x.x 16 March: Was supposed to meet Kimberly, Jasmine and Sakinah at Dhoby Ghaut but at the very last minute, the meet-up was cancelled. ): Then, as my sis wanted to support her school's cheerleading team, the whole family headed to Kallang Leisure Park to watch the National Cheerleading Championships. 17 March: Oo la la.. 17 on the 17th! Happy birthday to MIC! ^_________^ Hehehe.. =ppWent with Reenie for my enrolment at SP and also collected my laptop! (: Gee, I'm glad to say.. there were more people who wished me this year. Hurray! ;D Lalalala~ Thanks for the thoughts. I really appreciate every single one of you. REALLY. o.O Haha.. I miss you, Kim! Meet up soon, girl! C: Went to Sakae for dinner that night. The one at Lot1 is under renovation till May so we went to the one at Westmall instead. (: The food was simply palatable. Mmm~ xD 18 March: Had my last dental appointment at 'The Oralmaxillofacial Practice' and and and.. My stitches were removed! Yipee! :] 19 March: Headed to SP with Reenie again for her enrolment, while I went to enquire about some laptop issues. Also met Li Fang and her tuition friend, Xin Lei. They all signed up for the Freshmen Orientation Camp at St John's Island but I didn't. =x Anti-social and non pro-active? Well, I guess that's the word you might use to describe me. I just don't like going for camps, unless otherwise compulsary. (: 20 March: Blah blah blah.. A pretty boring day. Nothing much happened actually. 21 March: Met up with Jasmine and Wen Yan! ^^ Dined at JP's Billy Bombers. The food was not bad.. just that the serving was huge! o.O I had Fish and Fries. Yummy yum yum! =pp Had dessert thereafter but we couldn't finish everything. Hoho.. Took a few pics too but I shall upload them another time. (: 22 March: Something major happened at home today. Well, I shan't elaborate too much since it's kinda personal. Thanks to those who rendered their help unconditionally and for those who know about this, hope you'll respect me by keeping this incident to yourselves. Thank you. (: Had a stay-over at Jasmine's house. My first time putting up at a friend's place. =x 23 March: Back home. Immediately went to bed. ;D Missed my bed more than anything else! LOL. 24 March: First day of work at Jasmine's mum's office - Financial Services Managers Association ( FSMA). Went by myself and thankfully, I managed to find the place where the office was located. (: 25 March: OT till 0030! Everything was just sooo hectic and I was rushing to collate the documents in the files needed for the Annual General Meeting (AGM). x.x Those fellas who were to attend the meeting were 'big sharks' so i couldn't afford to screw up anything. It was the first time I actually had to work my ass off! T_T ZZZZ 26 March: AGM at The Pines. o____O I'd never been there though I always pass by while taking the bus to town. Nice place, great buffet lunch. (: BUT.. I didn't know what to do whilst the meeting was in progress so I simply stoned and was tipped off. =x Felt awkward though.. I was the only kid amongst the array of big bosses. -.-" 27 March: Met Jowell after work too check out the phones at Singtel and M1 in Bugis Junction. Had intended to enquire about the prices and stuff but in the end, didn't as the crowd was overwhelming. Wanna get an all-rounded phone but have no $. ARGH~ )': No $ = No Talk. 28 March: WORK WORK WORK. @__@ Bought preserved ginger for daddy cos he likes it. Er.. Am I good? Hahaha.. ^^ 29 March: Sis asked me to accompany her to the ACJC fair. LOL. She'd already bought the tickets amounting to $10 so she didn't wanna give the fair a miss despite the fact that it was pouring. x.x And it so happened, she said Jowell had free tickets for the fair too.. so we asked him along. Haha. Personally, I don't like fun fairs and it's partly cos I'm pretty introverted. (: Besides, I'm always prone to suffering from tummyaches after eating the slightest unclean food, given my sensitive stomach. LOL. I'm glad I went to the fair for one reason. I saw my sitting partner in P6, Jayne! (((: GOSH, haven't seen her since I left RGPS. :/ Could hardly recognise her and she's now a student of ACJC. Am happy for her. Was at the fair for only half an hour before the 3 of us headed to Clementi to have Jap food for dinner. =DD30 March: Went to church, then to grandma's house and home. Had a durian fiesta! WEEEE~ xD 31 March: Today was supposedly my last day at work but I'm still needed in the office so I'm going back again tomorrow. :/ Feeling a little drained from working and I need a break to prepare and re-charge for the upcoming poly school term. Finally.. I've gotten my laptop! Purchased it from S'pore Poly. Its the Compaq Presario B1200.. the lightweight one costing $1496.93 inclusive of GST. At first, I thought that my course didn't require me to own a laptop but then, when I enquired with one of the SP lecturers.. he said now all first year students will need one. In fact, we'll need to bring our laptop one of the days during the orientation week cos there's this computing workshop we have to attend, and it's compulsory. x.x According to the letter on the Notebook PC Roadshow, it said the campus would be selling HP and Acer notebooks. But then, when I got to the venue, I found the Macbook vendor there too. Well, seriously, the Macbook attracted me cos it looks really cool and sleek. I instantly fell in love with the white one! It's just so pretty. (: However.. Macbook runs on Macintosh, not Windows.. and since I would be using Windows most of the time, I guess a Macbook wouldn't be practical. Anyway, the only course in SP which requires the use of a Macbook is Music & Audio Tech. Everyone in the media industry will need a Macbook. So.. I'll be collecting my laptop on Monday, the 17th.. and at the same time, settling all the enrolment stuff. (: Last night.. I was taken aback when I received a letter from MOE. And guess what? My application for the Home Econs Teaching Scheme was successful! =x Oh gosh. I thought I had failed the interview.. cos the interviewers shot me many questions which left me tongue-tied. #__# Plus.. My answers to the questions they posed were not 100% truthful. LOL. At that point in time I had just wanted to get the whole thing over and done with. Well, I've made up my mind anyway. (: Will be declining the offer from MOE and going for SP's Optometry! Haha.. I do hope I've made the right decision though. o.O And there's no turning back now that I've bought my laptop and paid the fees. As for the teaching profession, I guess I would apply for it again after my diploma. ^^ Anyway, I should be giving tuition to the P2s and 4s on Fridays.. w.e.f next month! xD Hahaha.. The tuition centre is just opposite my house, so there's no transportation costs involved. (: I hope I can manage those kids. They must be adorable! Hehe.. =pp Oh yes.. I went for a haircut just now. =x And now, my hair is kinda short.. though my fringe still looks the same. -.- Next Monday I'll have to get my photo taken for the student admission card + ez-link. At least my hair looks more presentable now? The previous one was already in a mop! Hahaha lol.. Going out with KIM, SAK & JAS tomorrow afternoon! ^________^ Am really looking forward to that! Whoo! It's been a long time since I last updated? =x LOW WEN YAN is always saying that I'm lazy :/ but hey, you're not any better though! =pp Wow.. I've lots of stuff to update about the happenings over the past few days. Anyway, I had dinner with Zhuang Ying today! ((: Ate at Pasta Mania and Spicy Chicken is nice. Haha.. Had a great time of catching up too! Eh ZY, thanks for the present ah. ;D Gonna open it on the 17th! Yipee! Hahaha.. Ok, I shall be nice update about yesterday and the day before. xD 13 March 'o8: Worked from 8am to 11pm at Isetan Scotts's Mango. Retail hours are always so so long! -.- Isetan was having private sales for their card holders so they needed more staff to manage the buzzing crowd. The job was tough as I was folding and tidying the clothes.. while those inconsiderate crowd of customers messed them up again & again! Damn. Was frustrated but then again, as the saying goes: 'The customer is always right.' LOL. They win! =.= As soon as Isetan opened its entrance at 8.30am, customers came flooding in.. carrying their big Isetan plastic bags. o.O They want to grab all the good deals before someone else snatches them away. As we all know, S'poreans are really 'kiasu' people. Totally! LOL. I also had to get sizes and new pieces of clothing which the customers wanted. The whole place was packed like sardines, and so many customers approached me that I couldn't cope! ): I couldn't remember the sizes they wanted and even if I did, I didn't remember their faces. So.. I ended having a hard time and even had to tolerate the customers' black faces. ... Plus.. the storeroom there was so cramp that I slipped and fell on my knees! ): Hoho.. Now there are big bruises on my knees. x.x The only good thing was, I got $4 as breakfast money! Haha.. After work, I went to Mac with Reenie to have supper cos we were hungry. My lunch was from 2.30-3pm while dinner was from 6.30-7pm. Irregular hours, eh? -.- Also, the funny thing was, I was called 'Li Fang' the whole time as I had helped cover her duties without the supervisor's knowledge. =x Thus, that wasn't officially my job. 12 March '08: Morning.. Went for medical checkup with Reenie and Li Fang at Woodlands Civic Centre. It was damn crowded over there.. filled with loads of poly students. We gave our medical forms to the reception counter and waited for them to call our name. When they did, we made payment and were told to go to the toilet to do a urine test. Eek. Luckily for me, I had the urge to pee just when I needed to. =x How timely! Then, we had our eyes checked and blood pressure measured. Waited for ages! T_T Lastly, we had an X-ray taken. Girls had to wear this kimono-like clothing and it looked really baggy on me. Had arranged to watch 'The Leap Years' with Reenie & my sis but.. the movie started at 2.05pm while we got there at 2.30pm! ): But I saw in the papers that it was showing at 2.20pm! Dumb dumb. -.- In the end, Reenie went to the hospital for a visit while sis and I decided to go to Kbox. Sing, sang, sung.. and we got home at 7pm. The End. (: Awaiting Sunday! ^^ 08 March 2008
EH, PLEASE.. FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, CAN PEOPLE STOP GIVING ME APPOINTMENTS ON 17 MARCH??? Zzz! ..................... SP enrolment schedule's on the 17th and my dental checkup was supposed to be on the same day as well. The counter staff asked 'So, for your next visit, what about 17?' -.- I gave a straight 'NO'. Gimme a break man. I need some time off on my birthday, who doesn't? So now, my dental's on the 18th. I realised.. things keep going haywire this year and it's getting really frustrating! First this, then that. LOL. What a year! x____x Currently EMO-ing but I guess there'll be a rainbow after the rain.. hopefully. =.= 07 March 2008
Second round of torment today but I shan't elaborate. I was like WHAT?! when the dentist told me I had to go back again tomorrow for the same procedure as there's still an infection.. so it's better to play safe. -.- Poor me. Lol. My gums bled so much today. ): After my appointment, I accompanied mummy to the doctor's at Raffles Hotel Arcade before taking a train down to meet Wen Yan, Qiu Yan, Vanessa & Zhuang Ying at Paragon. Thereafter, we headed to Taka for a while and then took a bus home. It was a rather short meet-up and I didnt talk much. =x Haha. Sorry! Still nursing my wound + mood wasn't too good thus I guess keeping quiet would be better. (: Anyway, so much has been happening to me this year. It's like.. WHAT THE HELL is wrong, man? =_= In January alone, I made 3 trips to the doc and in February, I underwent surgery to remove 6 teeth. At present-March, I have to go back to the dentist's to treat my nasty infection. DAMN. It can get really disheartening at times and I wonder what awaits me in April. T_T Okie, I think that's enough of all the murmurings. All I can do right now is to endure and of course, pray that everything would be alright soon. (: Oh ya, I know KIM is dying to meet up with me cos I am, too! ^^ Haha. I guess we can still meet up on the 17 of March, before my enrolment at 4pm? Ahhh~ just a few more days to my 17th birthday. Damn. Thought I was already recovering well but what happened today? -.- I woke up with a swollen right cheek and my wound was hurting badly. ZZZ. My dental appointment, which was scheduled for tomorrow, was brought forward to today instead. So what exactly went wrong? After I underwent surgery, there remain holes in my gums which have yet to close up. Thus, some of the food I had eaten got trapped inside the hole of my bottom right gum, causing infection and thereby producing pus. =x Sorry, I know it sounds gross but this isn't the end. Lol. I suffered 'hell' during today's dental appointment. The dentist stuck a sryinge-like thingy (like that of an injection) right into my gum. Then, with the help of a suction and salt-water, the food was washed out. Man, it was FREAKING painful to the extent that I was pinching myself on the arm all the way and nearly cried. T_T Well, it certainly is the worst nightmare I've ever had from a visit to the dentist's! =.= Sad to say, I've got another appointment tomorrow and the same procedure will take place to 'flush' out the remaining bits of food. Wish me luck! ); Wow.. I need to arrange to meet up with quite a number of people this month. Must meet to do some catching up! Okie, that's all. (: 11 more days to 17 March.. -.- 05 March 2008

Hello! ^___* My blog has been stagnant for quite a while. Haven't been online for the past few days as I've been busy helping my sis with her art work. She has to make this mask out of the shape of a balloon, which requires many many layers of newspaper attached together to form a single thick layer. -.- The past weekend's been great though. I went to catch Ah Long Pte Ltd at Westmall with my sis, Jasmine and Jowell. The movie's hilarious and I was laughing non-stop. LOL =x And.. Yesterday, I bought a red top from FOX! :] Hahaha. I've finally gotten a red one cos most of my tops are either black or white, making my range of clothes pretty dull. Anyway, had lunch with Wen Yan at Pasta Mania today. ^^ It was a last minute arrangement but still, making an effort to meet up once in a while is good. Haha. I'll be looking forward to meeting Kimberly and the others, as well as Reenie.. and of course, Zhuang Ying and Wen Yan! Tata~ =pp |
