I'm back for another update before September ends! Basically, there're too many things to update on that I'm getting lazier by the day as everything is accumulating into a snowball. Well, let's see.. Where did I last stop? Okay, here goes.. Wed, 9 Sept - I went to Reenie's house and the both of us had a real late lunch of chicken rice at Yew Tee Point's Kou Fu. It was already 4pm+ at that time! After which, I slacked at her house for a while before heading home. Thu, 10 Sept - It was the day of the Kawai Music School concert themed 'The Space Odyssey'. Am so glad my ex piano teacher was nice enough to offer me her 2 free tickets so I could catch this concert. :) She even posted the tickets to my mailing address! Really nice of her. Decided to date Wen Yan out to attend this concert with me since it'd be quite some time from now till the end of her A's that I can meet her again. We had dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market and the food was good. We even enjoyed the student price at $6.90++. Sadly, I couldn't finish the food as I wasn't hungry as I had a late lunch that day. What a waste. :( The concert was really good, kids were so adorable esp one small Japanese boy who's only about 2 years' old. He was the centre of attraction throughout the performance! :) After the concert, we waited for my ex piano teacher Ms Chang where she brought us to TCC for supper! It's really very nice of her and Wen Yan was even talking to her as if talking to an old friend! Hahaha.. Well, hope I can ask her out again to give her a treat. :) Am so so glad she still remembers me despite the fact that I stopped learning piano since Sec 4!
Fri, 11 Sept - Yes, it's 911. But who cares? It's my Daddy's birthday! :D Requested for my tuition at night to be postponed to morning so I could meet sis to get Daddy a birthday gift. I was at Reenie's house for tuition and stayed on thereafter till around 5pm+, where together with Reenie, I met my sis at JP and we headed for Icing Room. Decided to decorate small cake for Daddy since we couldn't come up with any gift ideas. Anyway, I've always thought being able to do something special for someone is better than simply spending $ buying a present. Be it a note, card or a piece of my artwork, however ugly, I believe it shows my sincerity. Of course, when making a card for someone, I always crush and throw them at least 4-5 times before I'm finally satisfied with what I've done. :X However, it's been a long time since I made anyone a card. Oh man.. :( Decorated the cake with sis; it was just a small one as my family isn't really into cream cakes and stuff. I used the icing to write the words while sis touched up the cake with decorations on the top and at the side. :) Was a little shaky at first and afraid I'd destroy the entire thing. But the end product turned out just fine. :) Besides the cake, sis & I also got Daddy a personalised pen with his name on it, as well as wrote him a card. The funny thing was, we saw the name on the pen box labelled 'Michael' but it was only when we got home that we realised the pen was NOT the right one; it was 'Michelle' instead! Oh my goodness! @_@ We had a simple dinner at Sakae that night Hope Daddy had a pleasant surprise and that there'll be many more birthdays I can celebrate with him! :)
Sat, 12 Sept - Received an sms the night before informing me I had won a pair of tickets to YES933's 你还有个我 radio drama event! Was quite surprised I actually won them as I was just bored the day before and decided to take part in the contest on their official website since I also happened to know the answer to the question. Haha. Have been quite a regular listener of 933 since the new sch term started as it helps me de-stress and relax by the cranky jokes and laughter from the deejays. :) I smsed Reenie excitedly the night before and asked if she would like to attend this event with me and she said OK! So we went but w/o our lunch cos we were afraid that we'd be too late and won't be able to get a good seat. The event was just a short one, shorter than what I had expected, at least. They showed us videos of the crew of deejays doing community service and there was the one where Fahrenheit visited the Down's Syndrome Association! Cool ~ After which, they introduced the characters of the drama to us and played the audio from Episode 1-3 for us to listen. They also asked a couple of questions and whoever could give the correct ans could obtain the drama poster! After it all ended, Reenie and I wanted to take a photo with DJ Chong Qing but he was busy autographing and ran off in a huff soon after! Grrrrrr ~ Had no choice but to quickly grab the other DJs and I managed to call out to Ivy just as she was about to leave. Asked if she remembers me and she said she does and that her memory isn't that bad. Hahaha. So far I've called in to 933 6 times and of which, 2 times I spoke to Ivy and the other 4, Chong Qing. But the latter always seems to forget me! LOL. And just when we were gonna ask Jia Hui for a photo, I noticed she was eyeing us from a distance away while walking towards our direction. She then asked us if we were free for an interview and told us we had to accept this request before she'll take a photo with us! !@#$%^. Haha. In the end, we had no choice and uttered some random and broken sentences as we were totally unprepared! After which, we went to The Manhattan Fish Market for lunch; yes, I ate there again! No student deal this time, though. D:

Yes, I have been busy and on the go this holiday. :) Let's see.. Since exams ended, these are the things I've done: Wed, 2 Sept (immediately after exams ended) - Went to Orchard Cineleisure with a couple of my classmates to catch 'The Proposal'. Thu, 3 Sept - Met Wen Yan and Zhuang Ying for tea at Pizza Hut Fri, 4 Sept - Slacking time (finally) at Reenie's place followed by tutoring her brother Sat, 5 Sept - Swimming with my sis Sun, 6 Sept - Church in the morning (as usual) and thereafter, grandmother's house for dinner at night + supper at Rochor Beancurd Mon, 7 Sept - Was at IMM with Dad and Mum Tues, 8th Sept - Caught the movie 'Scandal Makers' with Reenie at Orchard Cineleisure, followed by a time of shopping at Far East, Wisma & Taka as well as a peek into Ion Orchard. Also had grape shaved ice with Reenie. Oh yes.. Saw 4 classmates in town that day, how coincidental. :) First saw Qiao Yan, followed by Ming Hui, Serene and then Li Min!
