Sat, 7 Nov 09 - Momo Love Promotion with Huang Jing Lun @ Singapore Flyer & Junction 8

Last Sat, I went with Reenie to Momo Love’s Promotion at the Singapore Flyer as I’d won us a pair of tickets the week before. :)

The night before (the night of the Singapore Hit Awards), I had a sleepover at her house.

It had already been planned beforehand; knew the Hit Awards would end late so I can’t possibly head home thereafter with such a tight curfew or I’d be throwing myself into hot soup!

By the time we reached her house that night, it was already 2am+.

Plus we dilly dallied for a while so we ended up sleeping at 4am+.

And I was unwell at that time, with a really bad throat and flu setting in so I slept all the way till noon!

Told myself I had to get out of bed by 12noon but as I was feeling sick and drained, I finally only woke up at about 2pm!

Realised we were very late already cos we had to reach Singapore Flyer by 3.30pm to collect the tickets from YES933 staff.

Quickly prepared and off we went, leaving Reenie’s house at about 3pm!

First went to Yew Tee to grab a permanent marker for autographing, then to get our photos developed as well as a card for Jing Lun.

Had a mad rush and in the end, had no choice but to take a cab cos we were running crazily late.

It was already 3.30pm at that time!

Wrote the card in the cab and it took us quite a long time cos we forgot how to write many of the Chinese characters; oh dear. D:

Finally, we reached the Flyer around 4pm.

Panicked cos we couldn’t locate the staff and I called her hp but she didn’t pick up.

Went to ask the Customer Service for help and they told us everyone was waiting at the VIP lounge as Jing Lun had yet to arrive.

Heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing that as I initially feared they might have had already boarded the flyer!

We were told to write whatever question we’d like to ask Jing Lun on a piece of envelop as one of the activities was Truth or Dare and were also given a goodie bag.

Jing Lun arrived minutes after us and then again, we panicked as we hadn’t sealed the envelop containing our card  for him!

So Reenie went to swipe her finger twice against one of the condensing glasses of water on the table. LOL.

It was a short but nice stay on the Flyer cos Jing Lun’s very cute and active. Haha.

During Truth or Dare, he picked Dare and was asked to dance to the song ‘Sorry Sorry’ which he did, with a fan.

Also, he did the Momo Para Para dance, which I thought was quite embarrassing but he was so cute and pulled it off quite well.

We took out our photographs - one taken with DJ Ivy and one featuring Momo Love to be autographed by Ivy and Jing Lun respectively.

Ivy was standing beside me at that time and was shocked upon seeing the photo of me and her. Hahaha.

Jing Lun was even funnier.

He was saying something like “这是什么？我也要一个。”

Then Reenie said “洗照片”but he heard it as “新偿品” so he said “Oh, 新偿品哦。” LOL！

There were also snacks and beverages on the Flyer but we hardly even had the time to snap photos, let alone helping ourselves to them!

We ended up only having the beverage upon the urging of Ivy not to be shy. Haha.

After which, we decided to make our way down to J8 for the Momo Love limited poster signing.

Jing Lun sang his debut song in Momo Love “咸鱼”for the first time.

And again, we got to take a personal shot with him. Cool ~

So.. To sum it all up, it was indeed a long and tiring day!

And at the end of the day, these were our barangs..

Tomorrow’s Zubbie’s 18th Birthday!

Hope she’ll enjoy herself and like what we bought her. :)

Fri, 6 Nov 09 - Singapore Hit Awards @ the Singapore Indoor Stadium

 

Arranged to meet Reenie at 4pm; estimated that CL Fitting prac would end early as it was something that'd already been done last sem - Lid Eversion.

True enough, I finished everything around that time and was puzzled when I didn't hear from Reenie.

She had overslept from her nap cos she was too tired.

So we ended up meeting at about 5pm instead.

Headed to City Hall to have dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market first cos it's near the venue of SHA and they have student meal there. :)

After dinner, we decided to check which bus would take us to the indoor stadium as we'd taken a bus from the stadium to City Hall for the same event last year.

Unfortunately, we didn't manage to locate the bus stop or number and were running out of time so ended up taking a train down to Kallang, followed by a bus ride on no. 11.

Reached the stadium earlier than last year cos we now know how to get there better.

Last year, we rushed like mad women and reached pretty late but thankfully, the event started even later.

This year, we were quite surprised to see a goodie bag awaiting us when we arrived at our designated seats.

And the goodie bag features S.H.E! Cool ~

 

Also, the SHA this year is no doubt better than the last.

Last year, the tickets we purchased cost more and the whole thing was absolutely boring. ._.

This year, the tickets were cheaper, there were goodie bags and also fantabulous performances by all the artistes!

There was a wowing crowd of 5000 that night!

Sadly, my throat didn't feel too good (very sore) since CL Fitting prac and started to get worse during the SHA. :(

Was feeling quite unwell cos of that.

Anyway, I was glad I finally managed to see S.H.E LIVE!

Have been listening and singing along to their songs for years but have never actually met them.

They're really cute esp ELLA, my personal fave! :)

She was sooo lively, jumpy and her interactions with 'Aunty Lucy' a.k.a Dennis Zhou Chong Qing were hilarious!

S.H.E was the last to perform that night and they rocked the entire stadium with their performace of 4 songs!

At that time, I was really on cloud nine and felt like I was at their concert though I've never actually been to one.

It was totally awesome! :)

After the SHA (which ended past midnight), Reenie and I took bus 16 to City Hall where we took the Night Rider to her house and I stayed for the night.

First time sleeping over with Reenie. Haha!

I know it's kinda unbelievable cos after all, I've known her for more than 8 years now.

Our first movie date happened only last year? Hoho..

So.. why haven't I been updating?

It's simply cos I've been going out way too much; there's too many things accumulated into a snowball to update on hence I've become unable to keep up (Well, actually a little lazy too. :X).
