Went with Jas to meet Mrs CMW at Plaza Sing at noon today. Took a bus down and she said she would be late cos of the heavy traffic but we ended up being later than her. x: Haha. Met her where Starbucks was and we headed to Secret Recipe, the place I suggested to dine at. :D Initially, Jas thought she'd be the one giving a treat so she prepared like.. 100 bucks? Haha. Then Mrs CMW told us to order something nice cos it's on her. Wow. They both ordered Irish Lamb Stew while I ordered Pan Grilled Catch of The Day. Main course was good, I liked it a lot. (: Ate and chatted about lotsa school stuff then proceeded to order cake + drinks. Jas and Mrs CMW had some Mixed Fruit Yoghurt Blend while I had Frosty Lemon Tea which was a bit sour. x: Haha. Jas wanted cake so I shared a slice of Choc chip w Walnut with her. Then, we asked one of the staff to help us take photos. o.o Sat there for about 2 hours or so, then went to walk around that level and entered some shops.. one of which was Build-a-bear. Hahaha. ROFL! xD Saw a group of very fascincated kids called 'bear-builders' and the staff who were all singing some birthday song to one of the kids. So cute. I didn't know you could celebrate your birthday at Build-a-bear's. Haha. We were all so amused by the super tiny bear clothings and accessories that we took photos with them. LOL. x: Felt a little silly doing so but the stuff were too cute alright. Thereafter, Mrs CMW had to leave to meet her sis. So Jas and I just window-shopped around for a while and went home. Oo yes.. I finally tried the desserts at MOF after my dinner at Pasta Mania just now. But the Red Bean Soup w Dumplings was way too sweet, I tell you. Wth. I felt as if I was gonna get Diabetes overnight. LOL! Next time I'll have ice cream instead. (: Hmm.. I'll just upload some of the photos taken today. The rest are with Jas so next time, okay? C:

MST is OVERRRRR~! (: Yes! I'm just relieved, not happy cos there's still A & PC formal report to rush and Exel test on Mon. So this whole week's just gonna be gone like that. ): Well, today's Gen Opt paper.. and I guess it's fine, still quite manageable for a Physics noob like me. x: Just hope I can pass cos so far, out of 5 modules, I can already confirm 100% that I'm gonna fail my Maths and Human Biochem. Failing 2/5 is already bad enough. Pls don't let me fail any other of the remaining 3 or I could simply bang my head on the wall already. ._. Okie, so much about MST. After today's paper, I went to meet ZY at BPP. :D Went to grab something to eat then walked around but seriously, there's nothing so nice to see there. Heh. I'm feeling so drained already and I sure am gonna promise myself to have a good break after next Mon. :/ Also, wanna say thanks to my mates for cheering me on when I was feeling super stressed up this entire week! Special word of thanks to Hui Hui, Ming Hui, Hui Ting, Serene, Li Min and Shu Yin. These people have touched my life for this week and the past. Really appreciate your thoughfulness. I can really relate to this song. >.< Finally decided to update. Yes, MST has started with 2 papers already down and 3 more to go. -.- For yesterday's Ant Phy, I started studying only the day before from 10pm-1am, then woke up to continue from 7-930am. Oh well, I did attempt to read and absorb its content a few days back but nothing would just get in. It seemed like no matter how much I read, I couldn't get a single thing inside my head. Darn. So I just went for the paper, not even half prepared. Was expecting the worst but to my surprise, there were only MCQ and fill in the blanks questions. Who would've thought a Bio paper wouldn't have any open-ended questions? Okay, I was really relieved cos I didn't have much content inside my brain but at least, I could still tikam and play around with the options. LOL. Nevertheless, this paper was screwed cos after comparing answers with the others, I realised I had made a lot of mistakes. 70 mark paper, each question worth 2 marks. If I were to make 20 mistakes, it would cost me 40 marks and I would flunk the entire thing. ZZZ. Today's Math and omfg, its another paper I screwed up.. AGAIN. ._. I didn't know much about the chapters on frequency distribution, standard deviation and statistical stuff. Basically, I think I only know Algebra and Indices. LOL. And my paper was kinda blank just now so I can forsee the kinda crappy marks I'm gonna get. Well.. broke down while studying yesterday. In fact, I've been breaking down all so often that I really wonder if I should give up this instant. Either opt for a change of course or if worse comes to worst, quit poly. I've never been able to cope since day 1 and never had the slightest motivation to strive really hard in my course of study. Science, math.. stuff I've never been good in and have no keen interest. I guess I entered this course more for my parents than for myself. Besides, I also cheated death in my O's, for those who know what I mean. -_- I'm actually just a sub standard student in Optometry while the others are really good students. I really cannot take it anymore. Studying now has become such a torture that I can't take myself thru' the 3 years.. really can't. ): So, one day if I ever have to give it all up, I guess I would. Like what people always say, getting into a certain course or institution is one thing, while being able to cope with it and survive well is another. This course is undoubtedly good, but just not for me. Idk what's for me, really. Freaking stressed up, super emo and very sad. Why do I always have to take a gamble in life and in the end, make the wrong choices with no other alternatives? I really am gonna fall apart soon. ): 19 June 2008

   The skin on my face is peeling off, esp my nose! D: Help ah. I am looking absolutely ugly right now and I feel so embarrassed when I'm out. People might think I just had a good cry. LOL. My nose is totally red now, after lots of skin came peeling off last night and today. The sunburnt patch on my shoulders and back are still hurting too. :/ Okay, so much for all that ranting. Today's Fathers' Day! Woohoo. And needless to say, Mic got her daddy a present. :D Haha. Well, I know it's just chocolate but at least, it came from my heart. So yeah, I'm sincere alright. (:

DOPT1A03's outing at Sentosa yesterday! Well, must say it was quite good BUT it could have been more fun if I wasn't sick. :/ Darn. Woke up yesterday morning with a sickening flu. Everyone was supposed to gather at Harbour Front MRT at 9am but when I reached there at 8.55am, no one was in sight. o.o I still thought I would be late. Zzz. Called Brian and he said he would be there in 15 mins. Thankfully, Ming Hui came soon after so I wasn't alone anymore. It made me feel kinda retarded to stand there waiting alone cos the other people there were all in groups. x: Reached Sentosa at about 10am and played some ball games at Palawan Beach. It was fun but as time passed, I realised that the scorching hot sun, accompanied by chilly sea breeze were making me feel very unwell. ):< Then, we went over to Siloso Beach where the sun was even hotter so I did nothing but just sat under the shade while I watched the others play. By then, I was already running a temperature. ._. Feeling hot inside but cold outside and was aching all over so I was really dying to go home. Anyway, thanks for those who were concerned. Nice of you all. Hehe. (: Later, we all went to bathe and left the place at about 5pm. I was sick and starving! LOL. Didn't have my lunch that's why. ): Headed to Vivo and we took a long time to decide where we should dine at since there were 11 people and we were all so hungry and couldn't wait. Finally decided on Secret Recipe. I was still contemplating if I should order Main Course or Pasta when I suddenly remembered.. I CAN'T CHEW! D: In the end, what did I order? Only a bowl of mushroom soup. So ke lian, right? LOL. Went home after that while the rest went shopping, I think. Was as good as dead by the time I got home. -.- Anyway, Wen Yan came over to my house for a while this afternoon. Haha. :D She said she was gonna buy me beancurd but end up, you know what? She bought for my whole family! Shocked. Haha. Had lunch and studied for a while. Actually, it was more of her studying cos I was chatting with her while reading Anatomy and Physiology thus nothing got in. She did 3 maths questions and me, zero. =.= I didn't achieve anything. Oh well.. How to study when you're sick and there your bed is, ever so comfy? Haha. Took medicine just now and slept from 5.30-7.30pm before I had dinner. And yup, I guess I should be turning in early tonight too. Oh ya. I'll be waiting for people to send me the photos taken yesterday cos I didn't take any. Hoho. Bye. (: 11 June 2008

Finally put on the set of braces for my bottom row of teeth during my dental appointment just now. Then, went to Taka to have Yoshinoya for lunch and of course, I was struggling with my beef rice bowl. D: I can hardly chew now and even when I ain't eating, my teeth are painful! BOO HOO HOO. I hate this but what to do? Just think of the end product - nicer teeth! :/ Went shopping in town for a while with mummy and sis but didn't buy much except for a top and bottom. But mummy says we can go shopping again another day. Haha. :D Okie dokie! Class outing's tomorrow! Think I'm just going to Sentosa; gonna give Night Safari a miss cos I've sprained my upper left chest muscle and doc says no physical exercise for 5 days. x: Anyway, hope it will be fun tomorrow with lotsa pics taken. Now I'm slacking at home and ya, I should be studying instead. x: Just started watching 'A Mobile Love Story' on MOBTV and it's nice! Hehe. Thanks for recommending me the show, Reenie. (: Oh well.. I got quite hungry just now after finishing ep 2 of the drama so I went to get Mr Bean Soy Milk + Choc Pancake. Woots! :D  My hair's in a better shape now! Thinner and more layered but it's still just as long. (: Hehe. There's not much difference, is there? O_O

Yesterday's prac was such crap. Left to work on my own again and I couldn't cope. Everyone had partners to work with except me. ZZZ. -.- Thankfully, there was Li Min and Shu Yin to help me a little. Okay. School again today. I was just on time for A & P Chem class at 1pm and somehow found my way to the back alley of T5 in search of the entrance of LT5A. It was so damn ulu there that it felt kinda spooky but that's not the worst part. :x I was walking quite briskly, afraid of being late and you know what? I stepped right into the ground laid with soft cement! Both my legs sunk right into it, as if being stucked in quick sand. OMG. ): Are those people dumb or what? If that area is under contruction, it should be cordoned off and there should be warning signs to caution people about it! T_T~ Anyway, just my luck. I approached a construction worker nearby and he brought me to where the tap was to wash my horribly cement-filled slippers. Eek. What a great way to start the day. =.= Thereafter, I got my Chem test back.. 6.5/15. First Chem test I've ever failed; what's happened to Mic? Chem, you know. Sobs. ): Anyway, to comfort myself a little, I should say I did better than expected. Looks like I must really drill myself this hol. Gotta get back the confidence I had once built up for this subject. :/ Maths was like.. !@#$%^&* boring? LOL. Log, log, log. A lot of fundamentals we've already learnt before and have no heart to listen all over again. (though I've already forgotten my stuff. :x) Luckily for everyone, the lesson ended early. Heh. I went to meet Zhuang Ying after that. Our intention was to excercise & play at CCK park but then it started drizzling on our way there. We ended up at Lot1 instead. :D Got screen protector for my hp and the both of us bought pearly soya milk from Mr Bean.
